‘I’m very happy here’: ‘Amazing’ manager suggests he will stay at his current club rather than join Tottenham

Daniel Levy will have a big job on his hands this summer as he potentially looks to replace Ange Postecoglou.

Ange Postecoglou is likely to be sacked by Tottenham at the end of the season after what has been a terrible campaign for Spurs.

Indeed, the league table tells you all you need to know about how poor Spurs have been this season.

Tottenham have a few managers on their radar already.

Andoni Iraola is Tottenham’s top target, while Thomas Frank has been linked to Spurs as well.

However, speaking in his press conference ahead of facing Nottingham Forest, Frank has committed to Brentford, claiming that he’s very happy at the club suggesting that he’s not looking for a new job.

Frank was outright asked if he’ll be at Brentford next season amid his links to Spurs.

The Bees boss made it clear that he’s very happy at Brentford, claiming that it’s one of the very best clubs in the world to work for.

Frank has been called ‘amazing’ recently, and after years of good work with Brentford, it’s easy to see why Spurs are keen.

“There are going to be some managerial musical chairs, will I see you on the opening day of the season as Brentford manager next season?” Frank was asked.

“I will say it’s definitely on. I’m Brentford manager because I have a contract here I’m very happy here and I really enjoy my life and the challenge here. I’ve said it many times, I can’t reinforce this message enough. I’m probably at one of the best clubs in the world in terms of being a head coach. A fantastic leadership, a fantastic owner, the staff, the players, where we are, the challenges, so, yeah,” Frank said.

Thomas Frank doesn’t sound too keen on leaving Brentford, and this isn’t the only blow Spurs have had in their search for a new manager recently.

Indeed, Andoni Iraola is set to stay at Bournemouth, so that rules out Spurs’ top target.

Meanwhile, Marco Silva has been linked to Tottenham, but Tony Khan is desperate to keep Silva at Fulham for as long as possible.

Scott Parker has also been linked to Spurs, but Parker has already said he’s focused on Burnley heading into next season.

Tottenham had a nightmare of a managerial search in both 2021 and 2023, and they could be set to suffer the same fate again this time around as they potentially look for a replacement for Ange Postecoglou.

Spurs need to figure out where they’re going next before they pull the trigger on their current manager.
