Jorgen Strand Larsen is hopeful Wolves will be able to keep hold of Matheus Cunha this summer amid Manchester United interest.
However, the Norwegian striker admits there will be ‘a lot of interest’ in his team-mate.
Cunha has shone for Vitor Pereira’s side this season with 15 goals and six assists in 29 Premier League appearances.
His performances earned him a new four-year deal back in February through to the summer of 2029.
The new contract also includes a £62.5million release clause, though, prompting interest from other Premier League clubs.
Arsenal, Newcastle and Nottingham Forest have all been linked with the 25-year-old ahead of the summer.
However, Manchester United are understood to be Cunha’s preferred destination if he leaves Molineux.
Strand Larsen though remains hopeful Wolves can keep hold of their talisman for next season.
He told talkSPORT: “Amazing player. Hopefully we can keep him for a long time, but you know how it works.
“A player like him, scoring goals, giving assists, having great games, it’s difficult to keep, obviously.
“But he’s such an amazing guy off the pitch and then on the pitch.
“You can all see it. I don’t need to tell you anything. He gives passes you can’t really see.
“My goal last weekend, it wouldn’t happen if his pass wasn’t really, really top.
“So yeah, amazing player and hopefully we can enjoy more of him. But I can imagine there will be a lot of interest, yeah.”
Cunha was the architect of Strand Larsen’s latest Wolves goal as they combined for the second in a 3-0 over Leicester on Saturday.
The Brazilian perfectly weighted a threaded through ball to his strike partner, taking three defenders out of the game in the process.
It was the second time they have directly combined for a goal in 28 appearances together this season.
Meanwhile, Cunha played a part in all three of the home side’s goals as they strolled to victory.
After opening the scoring and teeing up Strand Larsen, he played provider once again for Rodrigo Gomes to grab the third.
Cunha’s trio of goal involvements during the match takes his tally in the Premier League this season to 21.
Only seven players have produced more so far during the current campaign.
His output has also helped inspire Wolves to six consecutive league victories dating back to March, their best top-flight winning run since 1970.
