How to watch Djurgarden vs Chelsea in US and UK – TV channel, live stream, early team news

Chelsea will be eyeing up a place in the UEFA Conference League final later as it takes on Djurgarden in the semi-finals.

The Blues head to Sweden for the first leg, where they will be heavy favorites, as they have been throughout the competition so far. Anything but a place in the final will be seen as a major disappointment for Enzo Maresca’s side, and with qualification for next season’s Champions League not yet secure, it could put the Chelsea boss under some pressure.

Maresca will have a tough balancing act to strike with his squad, especially with a big game against Liverpool awaiting on Sunday, although his side will be expected to find a way through to the final.

Here’s all you need to know in order to be able to watch the match…

Early team news

Goalkeeper Robert Sanchez and forward Christopher Nkunku have not traveled with the Chelsea squad to Sweden. The former is said to have picked up a knock during the weekend win over Everton, while Nkunku picked up an issue during training.

The Blues are also without Wesley Fofana, Omari Kellyman and Marc Guiu through injury, while Mykhaylo Mudryk remains out through suspension. Malo Gusto is a doubt with a hamstring problem.

Looking ahead to his side’s clash, Maresca said: “Now that we are in the semi-final, the next target is the final, and then once, if we are able to reach the final, we go for the title.

“It’s a huge title, because it’s a European competition, and we can give this club the opportunity to be the only club in the world to win all the European competitions. It’s also a responsibility for me, a responsibility for the players to get that.”
