Tottenham Hotspur have had a fair few world-class players at the club over the years, with some still plying their trade at N17.

For instance, Son Heung-min has been a star for most of his time at Tottenham, even if his form hasn’t been the best of late.

Meanwhile, the likes of Lucas Bergvall, Destiny Udogie, Archie Gray and Micky van de Ven look like they’ll become world-class in future.

Now, Matt Doherty has spoken about a teammate he had at Tottenham who he felt had a better passing range than Manchester City icon Kevin De Bruyne.

Matt Doherty raves about Tottenham legend Harry Kane

Doherty took part in Sky Sports’ latest Sticker Book Challenge, in which guests have to pick from four options on a number of topics.

When it came to his top teammate, the former Spurs man had to pick between Son Heung-min, Matheus Cunha, Antoine Griezmann and Harry Kane.

Doherty opted for Kane, saying he remembers the Tottenham legend having “a better passing range” than De Bruyne when they were teammates at Spurs.

“It’s got to be Harry because that period under Antonio (Conte), I say at the time he had a better passing range like than De Bruyne at the time,” said Doherty.

“Some of the things that he was able to do, he was scoring assisting – him and Sonny were just…

“I mean, we didn’t win anything, but they were just doing incredible things.

“Probably a little bit biased because he’s a friend, but yeah, Harry Kane has gone in as top teammate.”
