Liverpool will face off against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this Sunday afternoon as they try to collect maximum points on the road in the Premier League. The Reds managed to secure a dominant 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur recently and became the new Premier League champions in the process.

Arne Slot will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation once again and could name a strong first XI for this game. The Liverpool boss is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this clash.

4-3-3 Liverpool Predicted Lineup To Face Chelsea

Defence

Alisson Becker will feature in between the sticks for the Blues after shipping in one goal in his last league outing. Ibrahima Konate will resume his partnership with Virgil Van Dijk at the centre of the Liverpool backline as they focus on making life difficult for the Chelsea attackers during the game.

Trent Alexander-Arnold will once again play as the right-back while Andrew Robertson hopes to impress on the other side as the left-back. Both of them would have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Jarell Quansah and Kostas Tsimikas will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench. However, Joe Gomez will be sidelined for this game due to a hamstring problem. Furthermore, Conor Bradley is a major doubt for this clash as he continues to recover from a knock.

Midfield

Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai will make up Liverpool’s midfield. Their main job would be to retain possession at the centre of the park and engineer some clear-cut chances in the final third.

Curtis Jones, Wataru Endo and Harvey Elliott will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to catch the eye in the second half if required.

Attack

Cody Gakpo will try to give a good account of himself on the left flank while Mohamed Salah looks to weave his magic from the right wing. Luis Diaz will once again spearhead Liverpool’s attack down the middle.

Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if needed.
