Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool remain in the hunt for Benjamin Sesko
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all keeping close tabs on Sesko, with scouts present during RB Leipzig’s recent clash with Bayern Munich.
Sesko’s team are still in active talks with the Premier League clubs and a move to England still appears the most likely outcome this summer.
Arsenal are understood to have conducted extensive background work on the 21-year-old, but Chelsea and Liverpool are also huge admirers and cannot be ruled out of the race.
At present, no final decision appears to have been made from any of the clubs involved — particularly regarding whether Sesko is viewed as the first choice option for their respective striker pursuits this summer.
Nonetheless, as per TBR Football sources, Sesko’s camp insists they are comfortable with how things are shaping up.
In addition to the trio of clubs actively watching Sesko, TBR Football understands that Manchester United and Newcastle United are also maintaining regular contact with the striker’s team.
While Sesko remains the central focus, it’s also understood that Castello Lukeba and Xavi Simons — both of whom featured in the same game — were being scouted too, with both players attracting strong interest ahead of what could be a busy summer window for Leipzig.
Benjamin Sesko may be keen on joining Arsenal
While there is no shortage of suitors for Sesko, the Slovenian striker may now be leaning towards a move to Arsenal.
The Gunners were interested in signing him last summer, but Sesko rejected Arsenal and opted to extend his contract with RB Leipzig in order to continue his development in the Bundesliga.
But as per reports, Sesko has changed his mind about Arsenal and is now keen to sign for the North London club this summer.
Club | Games | Goals | Assists |
RB Leipzig | 85 | 39 | 8 |
RB Salzburg | 79 | 29 | 11 |

It is also reported that while Alexander Isak remains the dream signing for Arteta, he might not be the most realistic option for the club.
Instead, the club sees the 21-year-old as a more attainable option, with TBR Football previously revealing that Andrea Berta has already held talks with Sesko.
With Arsenal in the market for a long-term solution up front, Sesko’s growing form and availability could make him one of the most closely watched names in the Premier League this summer.
