Manchester United likely has other things on its mind as it heads to Brentford in the Premier League later today.
Ruben Amorim’s side heads to London having taken a huge step toward the Europa League final after beating Athletic Bilbao 3-0 in Spain on Sunday. As long as United avoids a heavy defeat at Old Trafford this coming week, they’ll have a chance to salvage from silverware from a disappointing campaign, and secure Champions League football for next season.
A trip to Brentford then may not be at the forefront of their minds, and Thomas Frank’s side will no doubt fancy its chances of extending the 10-point it currently holds over United as it looks to move into the top half of the table.
