That’s a howler if I ever saw one
You may have seen that Adidas released Bayern Munich’s home shirt for the 2025/26 season (which you can see is linked down below), and it was met with mixed reception. Some thought it was okay-ish or “let’s see it in action first” while some thought it was downright garbage. Adidas conveniently named their co-conspirator for these kits:
Adidas does not design/decide Bayern kits all by itself. There’s a small group of Bayern fans from the Südkurve involved in the kit designs and more or less give the green light for a kit to be used. This said group did not see any problem with the design of next season’s home kit and approved it. The most important thing for the Südkurve is that the kit is red and white. The team already did the photoshoot with the new kit and the players liked it. Within the team, it is said that it looks better when it’s worn.

Seeing that there’s nothing that can be done to change it, it’s only a matter of whether the kit warms up to the fans if at all.
