The Bundesliga season is coming to a close…
Bayern Munich has wrapped up the Bundesliga title, so the next two games are nothing more than a formality for the table, but there still is a lot that can be learned about the club’s future in these final two contests.
Head coach Vincent Kompany will have the flexibility to rest injured players, take a longer look at some youngsters, and hopefully give proper acknowledgment to some of the players heading out the door like Thomas Müller and Eric Dier.
Borussia Mönchengladbach, though, is still fighting against the odds for a shot at European play for next season. If Kompany opts to rotate heavily he could open the door for Gladbach to grab three points on the road.
