Given the speculation over Ange Postecoglou’s future, it must be difficult for Tottenham Hotspur to put too many plans in place for next season.
Tottenham have at least four more games under Postecoglou’s stewardship before the end of the season, and that will increase to five if they can protect their two-goal lead in Norway.
Spurs beat Bodo/Glimt 3-1 in north London, a convincing display all in all, but heading to face the Norwegian champions on home (artificial) turf will be a very different experience.
That being said, Daniel Levy plans to sack Postecoglou irrespective of Tottenham’s success in the Europa League given the club’s seriously poor performances and results domestically.
Spurs are currently 16th in the Premier League and winning the Europa League final in Bilbao later this month is the club’s only chance to retain European football for next season.

Tottenham need to sell Son Heung-min this summer
That being said, if Postecoglou is dismissed at the end of the season, it might also be time for Tottenham to say goodbye to Son Heung-min.
Son is a legend in N17 — a player who will always have a prominent spot in the club’s history books.

However, the 32-year-old will only have one-year left on his contract in the summer, one which he extended with the club in January.
It was actually reported soon after that contract extension that Tottenham were ready to sell Son — perhaps protesting that his deal being extended was simply to protect his value.
Clubs in the Saudi Pro League are thought to be interested in Son and now could be the perfect time to sell the winger.
Son joined Tottenham for £22m back in 2015 and Spurs might actually be able to recoup a decent proportion of that fee to kick start their rebuild under a new manager.
Mathys Tel could be the future for Spurs
A big part of the reason why Spurs might consider selling Son is the options they now have to replace him: Wilson Odobert and Mathys Tel.
Both are incredibly exciting young talents and Tottenham arguably haven’t missed Son too much during his recent injury absence, even if it’s difficult to tell in such a peculiar season.
But with Tottenham planning to buy Tel permanently this summer, there isn’t really space for three left-wingers at the club.
And letting either Odobert go or not signing Tel from Bayern Munich would be a mistake — Son is the obvious candidate to leave.
The South Korean would obviously deserve a hero’s send-off, he’s done so much for the club whilst playing alongside Harry Kane and since the Englishman left.
But at the start of another possible rebuild for Spurs post-Postecoglou, it could be the perfect time to move on from Son, too.
