Anis Hadj-Moussa made his feelings clear on Liverpool as transfer speculation builds

Liverpool is being linked with a number of players ahead of this summer, including Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez, and Dean Huijsen.

Adding to the buzz is Anis Hadj-Moussa, the Feyenoord forward who has caught the eye in his inaugural season, netting 11 goals across 41 matches in all competitions. Meanwhile, photos of Liverpool’s ‘leaked’ Adidas jersey for next season has emerged.

With Arne Slot acknowledging Liverpool’s hunt for a new striker amid Darwin Nunez’s links to Saudi Arabia and Diogo Jota’s injury-riddled season, Hadj-Moussa’s aspirations have surfaced in an interview with Het Belang van Limburg, as reported by Sport Witness.

Hadj-Moussa expressed his ambitions, stating: “Of course, I hope to achieve it one day (move to a bigger European team), but right now my focus is entirely on Feyenoord. If I keep doing well here, we’ll see what happens.

“My dream club? I think it’s great that I’m playing at Feyenoord now and I really want to be successful here. I also like to watch FC Barcelona.

“It’s a dream for every young footballer to one day play for big clubs like Barca, Real Madrid, Liverpool, or Arsenal. But I have so many more dreams: winning AFCON with Algeria and going to the World Cup, for example.”

This revelation follows Hadj-Moussa’s attendance at Chelsea’s Boxing Day game against Fulham.

The forward excitedly took to social media to share that he was at Stamford Bridge witnessing Marco Silva’s team overturn a deficit to secure a 2-1 victory.

Last month, Liverpool’s stalwart defender Virgil van Dijk spoke about the club’s potential offseason movements, suggesting significant activity.

He said: “I think Liverpool should be able to challenge for titles in the upcoming years.

“Whatever happens in terms of players going out, players coming in, I think it should be a big summer.

“I think they’re planning to make it a big summer, so we all have to trust the board, as a Liverpool connected fan, to do the right job.”

Reds boss Slot has provided a bit of information about Liverpool’s transfer plans for the summer.

He said on Sunday: “We have just won the league, we were so competitive vs. PSG it is not easy to find better players to improve us. They need to be available, and we need to be able to afford them.”
