Manchester United face their biggest game of the season next week as they take on Tottenham in the Europa League final.
To say this is a season-defining game for both sides would be an understatement.
Win this and you earn qualification for next season’s Champions League and a much-needed lift of winning a trophy.
Lose, and you’ve had a terrible season with a bottom-half finish and no European football next year.
Manchester United’s transfer budget will be seriously affected by this result too.
Ange Postecoglou is likely to be sacked regardless of what happens, but speaking to beIN Sports, Ruben Amorim has given the Spurs boss some praise.
Ruben Amorim praises Ange Postecoglou
Amorim spoke about Tottenham ahead of this crunch clash.
The Manchester United manager says Postecoglou is a great manager with a great identity, despite the fact Spurs have been so poor this season.
Postecoglou has been heavily criticised by many, but Amorim remains a fan of the Spurs boss.
“You can see in our game that we have some things that can help us win, they have a great manager with a great identity, we know how they are going to play, they are really intense, they score a lot of goals and suffer goals also because they want to score all the time,” Amorim said.
Ruben Amorim’s record vs Ange Postecoglou
Amorim says that Postecoglou is a great manager, and he’s certainly been outclassed by the Tottenham boss this season.
Indeed, while Spurs and United are both enduring terrible campaigns, Postecoglou has beaten Amorim twice already this season when the two gaffers have met.

It’s only been two games, but, so far, Postecoglou certainly has Amorim’s number.
Luckily for Amorim, he’s catching Spurs at the right time on this occasion.
Indeed, with James Maddison, Lucas Bergvall and Dejan Kulusevski out injured, Spurs are seriously depleted at the moment.
This is Amorim’s chance to get one over Postecoglou and, hopefully for the Portuguese boss, a victory in the Europa League could kickstart a new era at Old Trafford and pave the way for more success.
