Chelsea welcomed Manchester United at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they looked to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a good start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time interval.
Marc Cucurella finally broke the deadlock in the 71st minute. Enzo Maresca’s men defended their slender advantage well and secured a narrow 1-0 win in front of their home supporters.

Colwill performed his defensive duties well and won a couple of aerial duels.
LB: Marc Cucurella – 8/10
Cucurella didn’t do much wrong defensively and scored the only goal of the game in the 71st minute. He deserves the man of the match award tonight.
CM: Enzo Fernandez – 6.5/10
He worked hard in the middle of the park but failed to make an impact in the final third.
CM: Moises Caicedo – 7/10
Caicedo got stuck in with a few solid tackles and made two decent runs with the ball.
RW: Pedro Neto – 6.5/10
He was a real menace on the right flank but failed to register a goal tonight.
CAM: Cole Palmer – 7/10
Palmer managed to catch the eye at times but there was no goal for him.
LW: Noni Madueke – 6.5/10
He made a couple of dangerous runs with the ball on the left wing but struggled to find the back of the net.
ST: Tyrique George – 6/10
George made one decent chance in the final third but never looked like he would score.
