Is Leroy Sané’s time with Bayern Munich over?

Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl confirmed what reports had stated — Leroy Sané has rejected the club’s offer.

“He said today that he doesn’t want to accept our offer in this form. There’s no bad blood. The offer is there. We’ve expressed our wish [to extend him]. You can feel, at least in my opinion, that Leroy wants to stay. Now we’ll see what happens in the next few days,” Eberl told Sky Sport journalist Kerry Hau (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

Sané’s future is now wide open. While the door does not seem slammed shut at Bayern Munich, the winger could start looking toward the Premier League, where he is rumored to have interest from nearly half a dozen clubs.

As has been said, you do not hire Pini Zahavi for contract extensions.
