“Because without all of their contributions, none of us would have achieved it together.”
Gratitude is in the air at Bayern Munich!
Once the Bavarians finished the season with a 4-0 win against TSG Hoffenheim, the team headed into the after party. Among the several who gave speeches, the front office took a detour from the usual official business and gave a heartfelt recount of the season.
CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen proudly delivered the facts. “Since the third matchday, we have been at the top of the men’s table without interruption, have only suffered two defeats, have picked up 82 points and scored 99 goals – almost 100 goals,” he declared, per FCBayern.com.
“And we’ll get that one missing percentage point next year,” he promised.
“The trophy is at home because we had a good season!”
The higher ups Dreesen, President Herbert Hainer, along with deputy Chairman Michael Diederich, director of sport Max Eberl and the sporting director Christoph Freund expressed their gratitude.
They thanked not only the players for their achievements, but also the coaching team, staff and employees of FC Bayern.
“It is the championship for each and every one of us. Because without all of their contributions, none of us would have achieved it together,” Dreesen said, delivering due credit to all involved in the club’s success.
