He called the season a fantastic experience both personally and on the pitch.
Bayern Munich ended the season on a high note on Saturday with an away win at Hoffenheim. The trophy had been secured earlier following the 2-0 home win against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Following the final game, the team headed to the after party, wherein manager Vincent Kompany expressed his thoughts on the season.
“That was fun. We saw a team that always worked hard and fought together. That was great and a fantastic experience both personally and on the pitch,” he said, expressing his delight in working with the team, as captured by @iMiaSanMia.
“We want to keep working and keep winning. Thank you for the support, now we’re going to party – and then we’ll move on,” he added.
Certainly, Kompany deserves much credit for turning the team around after a disappointing 2023/24 season. He came at a point when the team morale was at its lowest and made something out of the same team that crashed out of nearly every tournament. Despite his faults, it’s certain he has the ability to bring many more trophies to Munich. We wish him and the team the very best!
