The transfer window is not even officially open for Premier League clubs yet, although the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United are already making moves, which you can read all about in our transfer round-up.
Many clubs – including Manchester United and Tottenham – still have no idea whether they will be able to offer transfer targets European football next season, with the UEFA Europa League final on Wednesday set to determine which of the two Premier League sides qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
Despite that, transfer moves are still being made from both sides, which you can read all about below.
Manchester United near total agreement for Matheus Cunha
Manchester United are close to signing Matheus Cunha after the Brazil international shone for Wolves this season – he boasts 15 goals in 31 Premier League appearances.

David Ornstein claims the Red Devils are ready to activate his £62.5m release clause and have the funds to do so, with personal terms now also close to being agreed.
Liverpool also close to a new signing
Having wrapped up the title as early as April, the Reds have had time to plan for next season, and are taking full advantage of that.
Liverpool have agreed terms with Jeremie Frimpong ahead of triggering his £29.5m release clause, and another full-back is set to join the Dutchman at Anfield.

Liverpool are close to signing Milos Kerkez in a £40m move from Bournemouth, which – if both deals go through – would freshen up the wide areas for Arne Slot significantly.
Florian Wirtz drama as Manchester City make bold call
Not only are Liverpool aiming to bolster the full-back department, but a marquee signing is being pursued in Florian Wirtz.
The BBC claim that Manchester City have opted to pull out of this transfer race, fearing the total cost could end up being as high as €300m (£252m) with everything taken into account.

However, while Liverpool remain attentive to the situation, TBR Football understand Wirtz wants to join Bayern Munich at this moment in time, so Richard Hughes – Director of Football at Anfield – has some persuading to do in order to change his mind anyway.
FA Cup win opens a door for Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace won their first major trophy on Saturday with a 1-0 victory over Manchester City at Wembley, which has appeared to change the mind of a transfer target.
Steve Parish said one player is now keen to join after seeing the Eagles succeed at Wembley, telling the News Shopper: “We had a player who was maybe not that interested, and they watched the semi-final, and then his agent called us and said he’s watched it and is quite interested in being a part of it.”
Viktor Gyokeres improves his own chances of Arsenal move
Arsenal are hunting Viktor Gyokeres after another prolific campaign for the Swede – who can incredibly boast 96 goals in 101 games across his two seasons for Sporting CP.

Interestingly, Fabrizio Romano has now claimed that Sporting CP are open to selling the Sweden international for less than his £84.1m release clause, given his outstanding professionalism and admirable attitude amidst the entire transfer saga, which represents good news for Mikel Arteta.
Rayan Cherki bids farewell to Lyon amid Tottenham links
Like Wirtz, Rayan Cherki is also at the forefront of the transfer window right now, and the Frenchman seemed to post a goodbye video to Lyon ahead of a summer exit.

Tottenham recently made contact to sign Cherki – who is available for a modest fee of £19m with just 12 months left on his contract.
However, Spurs do face competition from Liverpool for the attacking midfielder, so there remains a long way to go in this saga.
