How much did your favorite club take home in UCL prize money?
What’s another way for a football club to raise funds apart from transfers, merchandising, and oligarchs?
Prize money!
This year the Bundesliga does not have the best showing in the Champions League but Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are neck and neck, having reached the quarterfinals of the competition before being eliminated by Inter Milan and FC Barcelona, respectively.
Bild compiled the full list of UCL prize earnings for the five German clubs that took part in the competition this season:

That’s Bayern Munich in the lead with €105.81M, Borussia Dortmund clocking in close behind at €102.24M, followed by Bayer 04 Leverkusen at €87.13M and then RB Leipzig and VfB Stuttgart at €58.99M and €43.25M, respectively.
Bayern have made the quarters of the Champions League before and that’s an understatement. However for some of these other clubs it is not hard to imagine the boost it could bring to their fortunes — should they spend it wisely.
