Manchester United have already put together their worst-ever campaign in the Premier League under Ruben Amorim.
Although victory over Aston Villa on Sunday would keep them in the hunt for a 14th-placed finish in the table, the Portuguese is under pressure to keep his job.
The defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final has heaped further pressure on Amorim, yet it was a different story at Old Trafford 16 years ago.
Back in 2009, the Red Devils were winning their 11th Premier League title with Sir Alex Ferguson at the helm, making it three top-flight crowns in succession.
Ferguson’s side found themselves in a battle with fierce rivals Liverpool, the Merseyside giants recording a statement 4-1 win in March to put momentum in their favour.
However, come May 16 – a week before the end of the campaign – United were celebrating another title success courtesy of a goalless draw with Arsenal.
In the 16 years that have followed, United have lifted just two more Premier League titles, their most recent coming in 2012-13, and it remains to be seen when they will ever come close to another.
On the 16th anniversary of that success, Sports Mole challenges you to name the players which helped United and Ferguson to add another piece of silverware to their respective collections.
