The summer transfer window is approaching and Newcastle United are looking for a left-winger to sign. Lassine Sinayoko has attracted the interest of the Magpies and they will do their best to sign the wide forward in the summer transfer window, reports Africa Foot. He plays for AJ Auxerre and they are ready to sell him for just €7 million.
The 25-year-old did not get his chance in the team when he was young, but now he has been an integral part of the setup for the last four years. The Magpies sold Miguel Almiron in the winter transfer window, and they have Anthony Gordon, Jacob Murphy, and Harvey Barnes as the only options in the attack currently. This is the reason why the club are looking for a wide attacker.
Lassine Sinayoko possesses both physicality and technical flair. His strength and aerial ability make him a tough prospect for defenders. Moreover, the 25-year-old’s surprising pace allows him to exploit spaces behind backlines. Sinayoko’s versatility shines as he drifts between striker and winger roles.
He has already displayed his sharp dribbling and a keen eye for goal. Sinayoko’s right-footed finishing is precise, often cutting in from the left to strike. A tireless worker, he presses relentlessly, contributing defensively. With composure in tight situations and a knack for decisive moments, Sinayoko is a rising star. Therefore, he will be a good signing for Newcastle.
Sinayoko has scored 2 goals in 25 matches so far in the Ligue 1 2024/2025 season. Overall, his goals scored per 90 minutes are 0.11. Moreover, Sinayoko’s total G/A (goals + assists) is 6 for this season. His goal involvement equates to 0.33 per 90 minutes. His non-penalty xG per 90 minutes is 0.16. This puts Lassine Sinayoko’s npxG output at 2.94.
Looking into his passing aspect of the game, Sinayoko passes the ball roughly 24.81 times during a game with a pass completion rate of 79.33%. He also plays 1.34 key passes each game. Overall, Sinayoko’s xA (expected assists) output is 0.22 per 90 minutes.
The Magpies can easily pay the €7 million to sign the wide attacker and he would be quite helpful for the attacking department. Now, we have to wait till the transfer window to see if the move goes through.
