Some of the biggest pundits in the game have been sent a clear warning ahead of the official verdict.

Sky Sports have reportedly sent a clear warning to star pundits Roy Keane, Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville ahead of the verdict over Manchester City’s 115 charges.

Back in February, the Premier League accused City of 115 breaches of financial rules, a claim that the club vehemently deny, leading to a hearing that got underway in September 16.

After months of anticipation, it is believed that a verdict on the charges will be made public at some point this month, leading to an increase in speculation.

Sky have already began preparations for the verdict coming out, leading to them sending a firm warning to some of their most popular pundits.

According to a report from MailOnline, Sky have prepared a factfile on the case that has been sent to all staff and pundits to warn them against jumping to conclusions when the verdict officially comes out.

Popular pundits likes of Neville, Carragher and Keane have been reminded that both sides could yet claim victory in the case and even if the verdict appears to make it clear that either the Premier League or City have come out on top, the decision and any potential punishment could be subject to an appeal.

The pundits and all over staff are reportedly asked to allow ‘sufficient time to digest the outcome’ and direct any viewers with questions to look at Sky Sports News for the most up to date reaction and information.

Sky Sports are airing on the side of caution when reporting on the the 115 charges, as they want to be absolutely certain that all reporting is accurate, fair and balanced.

Speaking about the imminent verdict, Guardiola said in February: “In one month, I think there will be a verdict and a sentence.

“After that, we will see my opinion of what happened so far.”

As it stands, the exact punishment or punishments that City could receive if they are found to have committed one or more of the most serious breaches isn’t entirely clear, with financial fines, points deductions or even a potential expulsion from the Premier League believed to be possible.
