On the 7th of February, 2009, Travis Browne made his MMA debut in a promotion called Cage of Fire. He faced Evan Langford and won via. TKO.
By the end of 2009, Browne had already fought 7 times, including a fight in Bellator MMA. His record stood, 7-0.
June 19, 2010, Browne made his UFC debut at the Ultimate Fighter: Team Liddell vs Team Ortiz Finale, and beat James McSweeney by TKO in the first round.
Following a draw in his promotional debut against Cheick Kongo at UFC 120, Browne went on a three-fight winning streak before being handed his first defeat in MMA against Antonio Silva at UFC on FX: Browne vs Bigfoot.
Browne, bounced back, with three wins on the trot, including a stunning front kick KO win over Alistair Overeem in August 2013.
His winning streak was broken by Fabricio Werdum in April 2014. A loss against Andrei Arlovski at UFC 187 saw his form dip.
Following a four-fight skid, Browne never competed in a mixed martial arts promotion. His last fight was against Aleksei Oleinik at UFC 213 – a rear-naked choke, submission defeat.

Travis Browne was born on the 17th of July, 1982 in Honolulu, Hawaii. His father was a Hawaiian and mother, European. Browne, a basketball player during his high school days, took up mixed martial arts only when he was 26 years old.
He is married to the most popular women’s mixed martial artist to date – Ronda Rousey. Having announced their engagement on the 20th of April, 2017, the two married 4 months later on the 26th of August in Hawaii.
Browne was previously married to Jenna Renee Webb and Erin Browne. He has two sons from his previous relationship – Keawe Browne and Kaleo Browne.
On the 27th of September, 2021, Browne and Rousey welcomed their first child – a daughter named, La’akea Makalapuaokalanipo Browne. Rousey took to Instagram to announce the same.
They currently reside in Riverside, California.
