The two Englishmen have linked up well at Bayern so far.

Sometimes it is easy to forget that Jamal Musiala is an Englishman. Of course, his time in England saw him rise through the rank of first the Southampton academy, before doing the same at Chelsea FC. In the meantime, Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane was proving to be a many season wonder and ripping the Premier League to shreds. Fast forward to 2025, however, Musiala and Kane are two of Bayern Munich’s biggest stars and ripping up defenses together.

Sitting down to speak with ESPN, Kane discussed his younger compatriot’s skills.

“He’s a good guy first and foremost. He’s still young, willing to learn and work hard. He’s one of the best I’ve played with,” Kane said, as captured by @iMiaSanMia. “He has some of the best individual attributes I’ve seen – the way he moves, the way he dribbles, especially for someone of his size. It’s a pleasure to play with him, he could be a complete game changer in some situations. We expect a lot from him because of how good he is, that comes with pressure and having to deal with it. He dealt with it well so far. There’s still stuff he can get better at and I think he understands that. As long as he keeps his head in the right place and keeps trying to learn, the sky is the limit for him.”
