Can RB Leipzig halk Bayern Munich’s party plans?

Former Bayern Munich assistant coach and current RB Leipzig head coach Zsolt Lőw sounds like he is ready to let his squad go right after the Bavarians on Saturday.

“I can remember a few games we’ve played against Bayern at the Red Bull Arena. We will try to get the fans off their seats tomorrow. I’m sure we’ll have them on our side if we can fire them up. However, we won’t dominate Bayern over the course of the 90 minutes, there will definitely be some difficult moments. I hope they stick with us during those, too,” Lőw said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

One player Lőw will not have to worry about is Bayern Munich’s suspended striker Harry Kane. Lőw, though, understands that the Englishman is just one part of Bayern Munich’s scoring machine.

“Everybody knows that Bayern are a great team. Harry Kane will be replaced by a different player, who possibly will interpret his role slightly differently. We want to play better football and show more passion. We want to play well for the whole 90 minutes. The fans have always been behind us when we’ve looked to control the game and be aggressive. That’s what we’ll try and do tomorrow,” Lőw said.

Clearly, RB Leipzig has forgotten its 5-1 loss to Bayern Munich back in December, which should make for an extremely fun match.
