Bayern Munich had the chance to seal the Bundesliga title last weekend with a win over Mainz, but Bayer Leverkusen’s win meant that the title can officially be decided on Saturday. A win for the Bavarians regardless of Leverkusen’s result will do it; at the same time, a draw would allow for a poetic home celebration of the title next weekend.

Team news

Jamal Musiala, Alphonso Davies, Hiroki Ito, and Raphaël Guerreiro are not available, while Dayot Upamecano is still not greenlit for a return. Manuel Neuer is reportedly fit again and might play at the weekend. With that in mind, here’s how the team should line up:


Like the previous week, three points on Saturday is crucial because it finishes off the title race. Jonas Urbig starts in goal; Konrad Laimer, Eric Dier, Kim Min-jae, and Josip Stanišić as the defensive line; Joshua Kimmich and Aleksandar Pavlović sit in front of them, while Michael Olise, Thomas Müller, and Kingsley Coman support Harry Kane in the front.
