Don’t call it a comeback (because they ultimately let RB Leipzig comeback)…

Bayern Munich star Thomas Müller has seen a lot during his time with the club and it warms his heart to see as much fight as he witnessed during the team’s 3-3 draw vs. RB Leipzig, where they battled to take a 3-2 lead after initially falling behind 2-0 in the first half.

“The team showed what this club is all about, what these players are all about. FC Bayern can be proud of these guys, despite all the injuries,” Müller said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “We experienced a game like this here a few years ago [5-4] when Arjen scored a last minute winner. Sports is fun, that’s what I can say. It feels a bit weird due to the late equalizer. I feel we’re champions, but we’re not officially champions, so the feeling is in-between.”

That is one way to look at it. The league title is a formality at this point, but it would have been nice to hold on just a little longer vs. RB Leipzig and really put the Bundesliga race to bed.
