Aston Villa have enjoyed a bright season which has resulted in European football for the third season in a row.
Indeed, Aston Villa are still in the picture for a spot in next season’s Champions League ahead of the final matchday of the Premier League season.
Unai Emery has built a superb squad which features plenty of high-profile names, and two such players are currently on loan at Villa.
Marcus Rashford is on loan from Manchester United, while Marco Asensio is playing for Villa after sealing a temporary switch from Paris Saint-Germain.
It remains to be seen whether Villa will sign either player permanently, and B6 cult hero Lee Hendrie has now given his verdict on both loanees.

Lee Hendrie would rather Aston Villa buy Marco Asensio than Marcus Rashford
Hendrie has revealed that he’s not sure whether Rashford is the right fit for Villa and worries whether he might turn out to be an expensive gamble.
The former Villa midfielder feels Asensio would be a better fit as he featured more in games, and thinks the “world-class” Asensio would also be better in terms of expenses.
“I am not so sure whether Marcus is the right fit to be quite honest,” Hendrie told Capital Football.
“I think Asensio featured more in games and he would be a better fit and maybe better cost-wise.
“I think that might work better because you can take a punt on Marcus Rashford and it might not pay off and pay a lot of wages to make him come to the football club.
“I personally think he will end up going to Barcelona…”
Whether Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio could sign for Aston Villa permanently
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands Rashford’s camp have informed Villa that he is open about his plans.
Whilst not committing to Villa, he has not ruled out returning to B6 next season.
Indeed, Rashford’s camp has told the Villans that a Champions League finish isn’t necessarily needed for him to re-sign.
However, we understand that, once again, Rashford’s priority is to join Barcelona, and his camp have already had contact with the Catalan giants to gauge their interest.
Meanwhile, Spanish reports suggest Aston Villa are all set to sign Asensio permanently from PSG.
Asensio has reportedly agreed a three-year contract with the Villans which will run until June 2028, and Aston Villa will pay roughly €15million (£13million) to PSG.
In addition, Villa are ready to sell goalkeeper Emi Martinez this summer.
