Hopefully this will be the first of many more titles for the Englishman.

Bayern Munich completed the season sweep of Borussia Mönchengladbach with a 2-0 victory. Harry Kane opened the scoring in the first half with a redirected header and Michael Olise polished it off with a goal in the 90th minute.

Kane’s 25th goal will likely earn him a second Golden Boot but that is not the hardware that will satisfy him. For the first time in his career, Kane lifted a championship shield.

“Incredible feeling. It was a long time coming,” said Kane (via @iMiaSanMia). “Lots of hard work and sacrifices for moments like this to celebrate with the fans. Hopefully first of many, we have a great team and a great coach.”

Kane and his former Tottenham teammate, Eric Dier, were among the first time season winners. A few other Bayern players claimed their first league title, including Michael Olise, Raphaël Guerreiro, Aleksandar Pavlović, Jonas Urbig, and Daniel Peretz.
